Aversion therapy involves pairing a behavior with a negative or aversive stimulus in order to decrease the occurrence of that behavior in the future. This differs from option A, which involves pairing a behavior with a positive stimulus, as well as option C, which involves ignoring the behavior entirely. Option D, using a model to demonstrate desired behavior, is a form of behavior modeling therapy and is not the same as aversion therapy.
